What is FENG SHUI?

The origins of Feng Shui are exceptionally ancient and can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty in China. Feng Shui is literally translated as “Wind” and “Water”. This actually refers to the topography of a site, the mountains, valleys and natural water features whose flow, direction and size are influenced by the interaction of these 2 powerful forces on our planet earth.

Two main schools of Feng Shui have emerged over time - the San He and San Yuan.
These ideologies form the foundation of Classical Feng Shui. San He is about landform and environmental qualities, while San Yuan is about Flying stars and focuses on time dimensions. However, all schools of Feng Shui refer to the basic principles of Yin/Yang, the Five elements and the four factors of direction, occupants, time and location. Classical Feng Shui practice requires the use of the Feng Shui compass known as Luo Pan. The objective of these 2 schools of Feng Shui have the same objectives- to examine the energy of a site using landform, time, direction and the occupants themselves. Feng Shui is, therefore, an ancient Chinese art and metaphysical science of harnessing the energies of Heaven and Earth to bring health, wealth and good fortune, by tuning in to the environment, seasonal changes and vibrations of nature.

Feng Shui prescribes the way of living in a state of harmony and balance with the physical environment and the intangible energy, in order to enjoy good fortune. A good practice of Feng Shui in our residence or workplace will help to create a harmonious, healthy and prosperous environment.

The correct placement of symbols can make an enormous difference to your life- they can improve your love life, career, health and make things go your way.
Feng Shui does not claim to bring you overnight success or to win the lottery. However, it can definitely enhance your good fortune, just as it can mitigate your misfortune.

What to Expect During a Feng Shui Audit

Once the client has agreed to retain the services of Master Vijayal Sunassee for a Feng Shui audit, he must submit the date of the hour of birth of the occupants of the building as well as a location plan of the site. No Feng Shui audit is complete without an assessment of the occupants Bazi (4 Pillars of Destiny) in order to determine their auspicious elements and directions as well as their current luck cycle and implications on their career, family, love life and health.

The client must provide the following:

During the visit, Master Vijayal will evaluate your space by touring the physical site, identifying the strengths and challenges of your property, and assessing where and how to improve the optimal flow of positive energy in your space with consideration for (1) the environment, (2) the facing direction of the property and the building, (3) the time factor, and (4) the residents.

The client must provide an accurate architectural print or drawn-to-scale floor plan of the property and age of building prior to the onsite visit. Depending on the size of the property, a physical tour will take approximately 1-2 hours.

Preliminary verbal feedback will be provided onsite.

A written report based on the Flying Stars of your building, together with an analysis on the shape, the layout of the building as well as internal layout, room or office space allocation, the position of kitchen and stove, colour schemes, positions of beds and best sectors to activate wealth and networking and health luck will be given.

Feng Shui advice will also be provided in the report on how to enhance good energy and subdue bad energy sectors. All symbolic Feng Shui cures and enhancers required will be highlighted for the Natal chart of the building as well as for the Flying Stars of the current year.

Fees: Rates are calculated based on Master Vijayal hourly rate and the number of hours required to complete the project, and subject to the size and complexity of the property.

What is BaZi?

Bazi, also known as the Four Pillars of Destiny or Paht Chee, is believed to have originated in the Tang Dynasty. For several thousand years, the Ten Thousand Year Calendar has been used as an essential tool to convert dates of birth into elements and horoscope signs to calculate the Four Pillars of Destiny.

Nowadays, there are various online calculators to convert your date of birth into four Pillars of destiny.

A Four Pillars Chart converts your year, month, day and hour of birth into elements and it comprises 4 Heavenly Stems of elements, 4 Earthly Branches of astrological signs and of hidden Stems within the Earthly Branches.

This is what a Bazi , Four Pillars chart, looks like:

This chart is decoded to highlight the personality traits, the classification of the chart from birth to old age, the favourable and unfavourable elements and their corresponding aspects of life, the highs and lows in a person’s life, career, wealth, intelligence, Power, Resources aspects as well as Special Stars which can bring a bonus to success or can impact severely on one’s luck.

Four Pillars Chart comes with a Luck Cycle chart which changes every 10 years. This is your vehicle through the journey of life.
This chart is also decoded to help you navigate through life by knowing in advance when to push and when to lie low and when good events will occur.

However, Bazi is not Fortune Telling! Through a reading of a Bazi Chart, it is not possible to tell you exactly what will happen to you during a good or a bad period, nor when you will die.

The benefits of having your Bazi chart decoded is to make you more aware of your inborn personality traits, your personal constitution and to give you the tools to manage your journey through the good and bad times of your life. We can identify the good months and good years for you.

You can make decisions on when to change jobs or career when to consider high-risk investments when to marry, whether the person is compatible with you for matrimony or for business and also when to take care of your health.

It takes Master Vijayal Sunassee a week to give you a full written report on your Bazi chart.

Special rates apply for IFSA (Mauritius) Chapter members.

Date Selection

Selecting an auspicious date for important activities in one’s life has always been favoured by the Asians and is now more and more adopted by the western and modern community. Date Selection is a service offered by Master Vijayal Sunassee and includes events such as:

An auspicious day for someone, based on his Bazi chart, may not necessarily be a good day for everyone. It is all related to the person’s Bazi chart.

With an auspicious date selected it not only helps to create the potential for success, but it also ensures that things go more smoothly.

On the other hand if an unlucky or a bad day is picked and used to implement a major activity (such as those mentioned above) it will lead to a very bad result.

Choosing an auspicious day and hour can bring a successful outcome to your project.
